Latika Nehra (b. 1991, Jaipur, India) a visual artist, sculptor and designer, working predominantly with ceramics. Her work is concerned with the dialectics of nature; the natural and the artificial, the given and the created, and their recurrent topological interweaving which, so often hidden by normative connotations, blurs the boundaries of a false dichotomy.

Using some of the oldest hand-building techniques, she seeks to reassert the primacy of the tangible in a seemingly hyper-virtual world. Her work frequently explores concepts that bridge the gap between art and contemporary design, manifesting in both objects and spaces.

Latika lives and works in Berlin, Germany, and frequently travels to India for craft-related projects. She holds a degree in Visual Design from the National Institute of Design in Ahmedabad, India and MA in Integrate Design from Anhalt University, Dessau, Germany.
